Hyderabad: The leading 5 cities that appear prominently in online searches across education and skilling related services include are: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad followed by Delhi and Mumbai; the categories that are searched include job training, school tuitions, entrance exam coaching, distance coaching and language training.
A study conducted by Sulekha, India's leading tech-AI platform for expert services has revealed these interesting facts about demand for education and skilling related services across India.
This study was based on visits and searches by nearly 80,000 consumers across top 8 Indian cities that used Sulekha platform in June 2021.
In Hyderabad, the top 5 education and skilling related services that are leading include job training, entrance exam coaching, school tuitions, art and science colleges and distance education.
These services have grown by 169 per cent, the study said.
Similarly in Chennai, hese services have grown by 234 per cent; in Bangalore, the top 5 education and skilling related services have grown by 167 per cent; in Delhi, these services have grown by 123 per cent; in Mumbai these services have grown by 80 per cent.
Satya Prabhakar, Founder and CEO of the platform, said, "It's interesting to see the surge of online searches in education and skilling related service categories. The categories that are leading the searches are across various age groups, right from School tuitions, Entrance exam coaching to Job Training.
